State of matters.

as i meddled
with the matters of my heart
with the innards of my space
i touched you
and i applied pressure
to your hand and
saw you were crystalline
in beauty and
i thought you were tangible
and
real

but your inner
arrangement broke
and your molecules became freer
and freer
you started melting
melting into something else
something which
slipped
pass right
through me
non-viscuous
i could not make you stop
i could not make you
stay right here

and time told me i could not
see you anymore
and you vanished
yet i knew
you were floating there
in the distance
homogenuous to your surroundings
here
yet not here
everywhere but not with me

you fused into something else
something way beyond my reach
energy bursting through
your core
bursting away from
me.
